Through Child Care Subsidies, families can ensure their children are safe and well-cared for in licensed child care facilities while parents are away at work.  For more  information, contact the Harnett County Department of Social Services at (910) 893-7500.

Circle of Parents

The Circle of Parents program offers family support service to families who reside in Harnett County with children from ages birth to five years old. This program includes parent education, support groups, and resources which may focus on appropriate discipline, safety, child developement, early literacy, school readiness, and transitions. Motheread

Motheread assists families enrolled in ESL classes through Central Carolina Community College in teaching the importance of early literacy and positive parenting. NC Pre-K

The goal of NC Pre-K is to reach at-risk children and give them a chance to grow socially and educationally before entering kindergarten.
